Skelly (14-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) set a UFC record in 2014 , submitting Tom Niinimaki on Aug. 23 and then decisioning Sean Soriano on Sept. 5. Scoring back-to-back wins that quickly had multiple benefits for the 30-year-old. “I think it got my name out there a little bit more,” Skelly told MMAjunkie.
