SAO PAULO – After nearly knocking Patrick Cummins out at the end of the first round, then struggling just to knock him down in the second, Glover Teixeira finally poured on enough punishment to convince referee Herb Dean to stop it. After a brutal barrage of punches that left Cummins (8-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) woozy, but still standing, Teixeira (24-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) finally earned the TKO stoppage at the 1:12 mark of Round 2.
