The result was a one-sided victory for Anderson (7-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), who used his wrestling and close-range striking to wear Maldonado (22-9 MMA, 5-6 UFC) down en route to a unanimous decision victory (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
