With his fight against James Moontasri tonight at UFC Fight Night 71, he’s finally getting the chance to shine that he’s been asking for. Lee (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Moontasri (8-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) meet on the main card of the event, which takes place at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center and airs on Fox Sports 1 following early preliminary bouts on UFC Fight Pass. If anything, Lee seems uncertain why it’s taken the UFC until his fifth trip to the octagon to showcase his talents. “It’s about damn time,” Lee told MMAjunkie.
