Thiago Alves Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA), MMA’s regulatory body in Brazil, has issued medical suspensions to fighters from this past weekend’s UFC Fight Night 67, and two face lengthy terms. MMAjunkie today obtained the list of suspensions from CABMMA, which oversaw Saturday’s FOX Sports 1-televised event at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. Although CABMMA issues minimum 14-day suspensions to all competitors, 18 of the 24 fighters from UFC Fight Night 67 received longer terms. Most notably, headliner Thiago Alves (21-10 MMA, 13-7 UFC), who wasn’t allowed to continue past the second round because of a broken nose he suffered in his fight with welterweight Carlos Condit (30-8 MMA, 7-4 UFC), is suspended 180 days.
