Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos PASAY, Philippines – When Yao Zhikui  was announced as the winner of a split decision over Nolan Ticman  at UFC Fight Night 66, the result appeared to shock even Zhikui . Zhikui (2-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was chasing Ticman (4-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) throughout their flyweight bout and seemed to have trouble adjusting to the movement and counterpunching of his foe. Despite the vast majority of people watching the bout feeling that Ticman had been the far more effective fighter, two of three judges saw fit to give the nod to Zhikui. The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 66 event at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims and a main card on FOX Sports 1. In the mind of Zhikui, he earned the victory over Ticman because his opponent was on the run throughout the fight
