Brad Tavares South Australia’s capital of Adelaide will play host to a UFC event for the first time. The previously reported May 10 event , UFC Fight Night 65, officially was announced by the UFC today. A heavyweight bout between Mark Hunt (10-9-1 MMA, 5-3-1 UFC) and Stipe Miocic (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) will headline the event with a co-main event bout announced featuring middleweights Robert Whittaker (13-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and Brad Tavares (13-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC). An additional six bouts were announced by the promotion, as well. Sean O’Connell will meet Anthony Perosh at light heavyweight; Jake Matthews takes on James Vick in a lightweight bout; Seo Hee Ham is set to square off with Bec Rawlings in a women’s strawweight contest; Dylan Andrews meets Bradley Scott at middleweight; women’s strawweights Alex Chambers and Kailin Curran will collide; and Vik Grujic will meet Brendan O’Reilly at welterweight
