AUSTIN, Texas – Roger Narvaez couldn’t quite get the finish, even after dropping Luke Barnatt in the final round and nearly sinking several rear-naked chokes. But after three rounds against a game Barnatt (8-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC), Narvaez (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) did get the split decision victory (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) thanks to the two judges who saw it in his favor after a bout that wasn’t so easy to call. The middleweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 57 event at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas
