HALIFAX – Raphael Assuncao got all he could handle from Bryan Caraway , but he continued to make his case for a bantamweight title shot. Assuncao (23-4 MMA, 7-1 UFC) took a unanimous decision from Caraway (19-7 MMA, 4-2 UFC), using a solid striking attack to get a sweep of the judges’ scorecards. The bantamweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC Fight Night 54 event at Halifax Metro Centre in Nova Scotia, Canada.
