HALIFAX – Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 54 event drew an announced attendance of 10,782 and a live gate of $926,000. UFC executives announced the figures at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended. UFC Fight Night 54 took place at Halifax Metro Centre in Nova Scotia, Canada, and featured a welterweight contenders fight between Rory MacDonald and former Strikeforce champ Tarec Saffiedine, plus a bantamweight contenders fight between Raphael Assuncao and Bryan Caraway. While the number of “comp” or free tickets was not revealed, the figures represent an average revenue of $85.88 per ticket issued.
