STOCKHOLM – Dennis Siver (22-9 MMA, 11-6 UFC) got the win, as expected, but Charles Rosa (9-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) put up much more of a fight than many probably expected out of the promotional newcomer. Despite taking the fight on a week’s notice, Rosa proved game and clearly has the skills to hang with UFC-caliber competition. The featherweight bout was part of today’s UFC Fight Night 53 preliminary card. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass from Ericsson Globe in Stockholm. Rosa, an American Top Team fighter who got the bout when the Swedish MMA Federation deemed Taylor Lapilus unfit for the matchup, showed no octagon jitters when the fight got underway.
