TULSA – The comeback of Thales Leites  (24-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) continues to gain momentum. The onetime middleweight title challenger swarmed Francis Carmont  (22-10 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the second round and landed thundering punches to earn a stoppage. The middleweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 49 event at BOK Center in Tulsa. It aired on FOX Sports 1 after prelims on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass. The bout’s finish came at the 0:20 mark of the second round as referee John McCarthy pulled Leites off Carmont, giving the Brazilian his fourth straight victory since returning to the UFC after a four-year absence.
