The UFC made its debut in “The Pine Tree State” on Saturday night as UFC Fight Night 47 went down from the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. Ryan Bader (18-4 MMA, 11-4 UFC) claimed his second UFC victory in a 63-day span during the event headliner where he outworked Ovince Saint Preux (16-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC) over the course of five rounds en route to a unanimous decision win. “Darth” has always been known as a wrestling-based fighter, but his takedowns were particularly on point against Saint Preux, as he recorded a career-high in the category.
