SAN ANTONIO –  Cezar Ferreira took a bit of a break in the second, but what mattered was what he did early in the third. Then he had to hang on and survive late. Ferreira (8-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) landed a perfectly placed elbow early in the final frame that cut  Andrew Craig (9-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) open in a big way. Then he took his back for a big chunk of the frame. But Craig looked for a miracle, and nearly got one late – only to have Ferreira survive for the unanimous decision. The middleweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC Fight Night 44 event at AT&T Center in San Antonio
