SAN ANTONIO – Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 44 event drew an announced attendance of 9,227 and a live gate of $728,358. The UFC announced the figures at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended. UFC Fight Night 44 took place at AT&T Center in San Antonio, and featured a featherweight contenders fight between Cub Swanson and Jeremy Stephens in the FOX Sports 1-televised headliner. Swanson took a unanimous decision in a five-round slugfest, which won “Fight of the Night” honors.
