AUCKLAND, New Zealand – Daniel Hooker had to battle back from what might have finished many fighters. But he made surviving some danger worth his home fans’ while. Hooker (11-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won his UFC debut when he stopped Ian Entwistle (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a first-round TKO thanks to a barrage of elbows that left Entwistle a bloody mess. But those elbows only came after Hooker survived several brutal-looking leg submission attempts.
