It wasn’t always pretty, but David Teymur stayed perfect in his UFC tenure with a decision win over Nik Lentz . Teymur (8-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) took a pair of 30-27 scores and a 29-28 against Lentz (28-9-2 MMA, 12-6-1 UFC) for a unanimous decision. By the end of the fight, Lentz’s right eye was bloodied and battered, though he never was in trouble from Teymur throughout their 15 minutes. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC Fight Night 131 event at Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y. It aired on FS1 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of the main card on FS1.
