Filed under: News , UFC Beneil Dariush got the longest guaranteed medical suspension at this past Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 106 event in Brazil. Dariush (14-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) suffered a brutal knockout from a Edson Barboza (19-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) knee in the second round of their lightweight fight on the main card at the event, which took place at Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. The card aired on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Dariush was given a 60-day medical suspension with 45 days of no contact by the Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA, or CABMMA, which today released the suspensions from the event. Tim Means (26-8-1 MMA, 8-5 UFC) may have to sit out as long as 180 days after his submission loss to Alex Oliveira (17-3-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) in their welterweight rematch
