Filed under: Featured , News , UFC Not only does Cris Cyborg have her first UFC title defense coming up next month, she has a new deal to go with it. Cyborg, the women’s featherweight champion, announced on her web site today that she’s signed a new UFC contract that will keep her with the promotion for “at least the next 15 months,” making her the “highest paid female fighter currently on the UFC roster.” The new deal comes one day after the UFC announced Cyborg (18-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will defend her title against ex-bantamweight champion Holly Holm (11-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) on Dec. 30 at the UFC 219 pay-per-view from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
