Rafael Dos Anjos is eyeing a return from a partial MCL tear, and December is the target month for the UFC lightweight champion. Dos Anjos’ manager, Ali Abdel Aziz, informed UFC Tonight on Wednesday of the fighter’s intentions. Unfortunately, a definitive timeline for his return isn’t quite set because the fighter still hasn’t been cleared by doctors. Dos Anjos injured his MCL in his win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 185 this past March. Following the win, he revealed he suffered the MCL injury in the weeks leading into the Pettis fight, adding to the impressiveness of the win. Waiting for RDA will likely be Donald Cerrone , who scored a technical knockout over John Makdessi at UFC 187 last weekend.
