UFC champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will not require surgery to repair her broken right thumb despite previous reports that stated she would. During her first title defense at UFC Fight Night 69 against Jessica Penne on June 20, the women’s strawweight champion suffered a broken thumb on her right hand. It was reported on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight that Jedrzejczyk would undergo surgery in Los Angeles, but that’s no longer the case.
