function not found UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre was in this year’s $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event, but was one of the players that failed to make it beyond Day 1b of the tournament. For those of you fluent in poker, shortly before the night ended, St-Pierre had pocket Kings and got check raised after his opponent flopped two pair with A-5 with an Ace high board AJ5. At this point, he had less than 10,000 in chips left. After that, he went all-in with 10-6 suited and busted out in one of the last hands of the night. He barely missed surviving the first day (Day 1B) at the World Series of Poker Main Event. This was a $10,000 buy-in for Sunday’s event in Las Vegas with St-Pierre sponsored by 888 Poker. It was the second consecutive year that he has played at the World Series of Poker.
