After Johnson’s (24-2-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) first-round decimation of Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), UFC President Dana White all but declared the flyweight champ the sport’s best and wondered how anyone would disagree, even though some MMAjunkie staffers still think newly minted light heavyweight champ Jon Jones (22-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) is still No. 1 . Johnson said after UFC 197 he’s more focused on becoming a better fighter than picking up accolades, but in an interview with MMAjunkie Radio, he did admit he feels closer than ever to being without peer.
