Even though the New York State Assembly went deep into an overtime session this year, and even though the New York Senate, for the sixth time, overwhelmingly approved legalization professional mixed martial arts in the state, the New York MMA Bill once again was left by the wayside without the Assembly voting on it. There was reportedly overwhelming support from the Assembly, both Democratic and Republican, but the bill, as in years past, never made it to the Assembly floor for a vote.
