Ricardo Lamas (19-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC) bloodied Darren Elkins (24-7 MMA, 14-6 UFC) early, then refused to let off the gas, staying one step ahead until finally earning a TKO in the final minute of the fight. The featherweight contest served as the co-main event on the FS1-broadcast main card of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 140 event at Parque Roca Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lamas took the center to star, catching a quick low kick to the cup but battling on. Shortly after, he threw Elkins to the floor and briefly threatened with a guillotine, though Lamas couldn’t quite get the squeeze.
