When UFC 312 needed a wakeup call, Gabriel Santos dialed in a slick submission Saturday in Sydney – much to this dismay of the Australian faithful in attendance. In the featured prelim at Qudos Bank Arena, Santos (12-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) finished home country featherweight Jack Jenkins with a slick rear-naked choke at 2:06 of Round 2. The bout was entertaining for as long as it lasted.
