LAS VEGAS – In case there were questions about Kai Asakura ’s ability to make flyweight after competing outside the division for seven years, he answered them Friday. The main event for the UFC’s final pay-per-view of the year is official after the headliners made weight at the UFC Apex. Ahead of UFC 310 (ESPN+), which takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja (28-5 MMA, 12-3 UFC) and debuting challenger Asakura (21-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) stepped on the scale at the official weigh-ins. Pantoja weighed in early in the window as the second fighter out of the entire UFC 310 pack.
