Irene Aldana was a bloody mess as Norma Dumont outlanded her at UFC 306. Dumont (12-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) emerged as a top contender when she defeated Aldana (15-8 MMA, 8-6 UFC) by unanimous decision Saturday. The women’s bantamweight bout closed out the UFC 306 preliminary card at Sphere in Las Vegas. Dumont invested in low kicks early, as Aldana pressured. Dumont was able to get out of the way of Aldana’s big lunging shots, and outstruck her in the first five minutes.
