Valentina Shevchenko won back the women’s flyweight title in the UFC 306 co-main event on Sept. 14 to become a two-time UFC champion and evened the score with  Alexa Grasso . The UFC 306 flyweight title bout was a trilogy match.  Grasso defeated Shevchenko to win the women’s 125-pound championship at UFC 285 in March of 2023.  The two fought to a split draw in the rematch six months later.  In the trilogy fight, Shevchenko dominated Grasso winning all five rounds on all three judges’ scorecards.
