PERTH, Australia – Open workouts ahead of the fight between middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis and former champ Israel Adesanya took place Thursday, and MMA Junkie was on the scene for the festivities. Middleweight champion Du Plessis (21-2 MMA, 7-0 UFC) makes his first title defense against Adesanya (24-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC) in Saturday’s UFC 305 (pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+) main event at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Before they get there, though, they attended open workouts, with Du Plessis showing off his kicking game and brushing off a disrespectful fan question.
