LAS VEGAS – With just over two weeks of notice, Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka continued official fight week activities Thursday for their UFC 303 main event rematch, which caps off the 12th annual International Fight Week. Following Conor McGregor’s injury that canceled the original headliner with Michael Chandler, light heavyweight champ Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and former titleholder Prochazka (30-4-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) stepped in to save the show in a rematch from UFC 295 in November. Pereira won that fight by second-round TKO , but Prochazka protested the stoppage and has been clamoring for a rematch since. The pair were in attendance at the pre-fight press conference, which took place at T-Mobile Arena, the same venue that hosts Saturday’s card ( ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN, ESPN+). After taking questions from media, Pereira and Prochazka had their first fight week faceoff, and the intensity was palpable. Check out the video above to see the Pereira vs.
