LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday’s official UFC 300 weigh-ins, where all 26 fighters hit their marks. In the main event, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (9-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) puts his title on the line for the first time against former champ Jamahal Hill (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), who vacated the belt before he ever defended it in 2023 due to an injury. The headliners were among the final four to come to the scale, but hit their marks at 205 pounds. In the co-feature, women’s strawweight champ Zhang Weili (24-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and challenger Yan Xiaonan (17-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) meet in the first all-China title fight in UFC history. Xiaonan was the first fighter on the scale and was a title-ready 115 pounds.
