LAS VEGAS – Kayla Harrison is officially a UFC women’s bantamweight fighter after making weight in a new division for the first time ahead of her anticipated octagon debut vs. Holly Holm at UFC 300. Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo and two-time PFL season champion, was forced to cut down to an unfamiliar weight class in order to sign with the UFC. Whether she would hit the mark was a huge storyline going into Friday’s official UFC 300 weigh-ins, but Harrison successfully silenced her doubters.
