Following Saturday’s UFC 294 pay-per-view event, UFC President Dana White announced the bonus award winners. Four ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses were awarded to Islam Makhachev, Ikram Aliskerov, Said Nurmagomedov, and Muhammad Mokaev. Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev knocked out featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski in the UFC 294 main event. Makhachev connected with a head kick that knocked Volkanovski down.
