Tyson Pedro made quick work of Anton Turkalj en route to victory Saturday at UFC 293 . In a light heavyweight bout that opened up the main card at Qudos Arena in Sydney, Pedro (10-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) knocked out Turkalj (8-3 MMA, 0-3 UFC) with the stoppage at 2:12 of Round 1. Once he got going, it seemed like Pedro couldn’t miss – particularly with his right hand. A combination knocked Turkalj off balance, but “The Pleasure Man” remained upright. After a few more combinations, a Pedro right hand put Turkalj down. A wicked hammerfist followed and turned Turkalj’s lights out.
