LAS VEGAS – Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor faced off for the first time ahead of Saturday’s UFC 264 trilogy bout following the pre-fight press conference. After answering questions from the media on Thursday at T-Mobile Arena, Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) and McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC) had the first of two fight week staredowns. It was a raucous scene with fans in attendance, and McGregor brought that energy with him to the stage and threw a kick at Poirier, who kept his composure and continued to show he won’t take McGregor’s bait.
