Charles Oliveira finally realized his dream of becoming a UFC champion, but it didn’t come without adversity. Oliveira (31-8 MMA, 19-8 UFC) claimed the vacant lightweight title at UFC 262, when he rallied to stop Michael Chandler (22-6 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the opening seconds of Round 2. It was a back-and-forth round where Chandler looked to be in trouble early, when the UFC’s all-time leader in submission wins took his back.
