Sean O’Malley continues to rise to the occasion. After a successful return at UFC 248 in March, O’Malley (12-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) faced veteran Eddie Wineland at UFC 250 in arguably his toughest test to date. O’Malley fought long, throwing an array of kicks and jabs, while Wineland tried to close the distance. Wineland clipped O’Malley with a solid right as he continued to pressure, but O’Malley did a good job of circling away to regain the center of the octagon. O’Malley started to ramp up the aggression, landing a body kick, a right hand, then a spinning back kick that Wineland ducked under.
