UFC 234 was a memorable night in many ways. The event in Melbourne, Australia on Feb. 10 was scheduled to be headlined with Robert Whittaker’s UFC middleweight title defense against Kelvin Gastelum. But Whittaker had to withdraw the morning of the card. That postponed the title fight, and it meant New Zealand’s Israel Adesanya and his bout with the legendary Anderson Silva, which was scheduled to be the co-feature, become the new main event. Then the duo put on one memorable show, as Adesanya, the next-generation equivalent of Silva, dazzled, but the old master himself, Silva, showed he still had tricks up his sleeve
