The UFC made its return to Canada on Saturday with UFC 240, which went down at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, with a main card that aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+/UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, Max Holloway (21-4 MMA, 17-4 UFC) retained his UFC featherweight title once again with a unanimous-decision victory over Frankie Edgar (23-7-1 MMA, 17-7-1 UFC) that saw “Blessed” connect with 129 significant strikes, which is the fourth highest output of his octagon tenure.
