LOS ANGELES – Fighters from Saturday’s UFC 227 event took home event took home UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay totaling $240,500. The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy. In the main event, bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw (16-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) stopped Cody Garbrandt (11-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) with a first-round TKO to retain his title in a rematch. Dillashaw picked up the standard $40,000 pay for a champion; Garbrandt made the standard $30,000 for a challenger.
