Thompson (13-1-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC), who rematches Woodley (16-3-1 MMA, 6-3-1 UFC) for the 170-pound title in Saturday’s pay-per-view headliner at T-Mobile Arena, has been a training partner of St-Pierre’s (25-2 MMA, 19-2 UFC) for past camps of the longtime titleholder. Although they haven’t worked together in several years, Thompson said at today’s UFC 209 open workouts that he has no desire to fight “Rush” and is glad the Canadian star is moving up to the middleweight division for an announced title showdown with Michael Bisping
