UFC 209 took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and the main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Leading the way was UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (17-3-1 MMA, 7-2-1 UFC), who earned a maximum payout of $40,000 as titleholder. “The Chosen One” earned a majority-decision win over Stephen Thompson (13-2-1 MMA, 8-2-1 UFC) in the main event.
