Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Drew Dober has some ideas on what he wants to accomplish in 2017. But on Saturday, he has a chance to close out his 2016 in perfect fashion. Dober (17-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC) meets fellow lightweight Olivier Aubin-Mercier (8-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) on the UFC 206 preliminary card, and he’s a slight underdog in the fight. But if he pulls the upset on Aubin-Mercier’s home turf, he’ll close out his calendar year 3-0 and get above .500 in the UFC. That would be key heading into next year, when he wants to have his most active year yet in the promotion. “My number is always four – I want at least four fights in a year’s time,” Dober recently told MMAjunkie at his home training facility, the Elevation Fight Team/MusclePharm gym in Denver.
