UFC 206 took place at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and the main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Leading the way was newly crowned interim UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway (17-3 MMA, 13-3 UFC), who scored the title-fight tier payout of $30,000. “Blessed” stopped Anthony Pettis (19-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC) by third-round TKO to capture the gold. Pettis would have received equal pay, but he missed weight for the fight and a UFC official confirmed to MMAjunkie he was ruled ineligible for the title payday.
