LAS VEGAS – Lorenz Larkin didn’t take long to hurt Neil Magny , and once he had his opponent on the run, he didn’t let up. The end result was a first-round TKO finish for Larkin (18-5 MMA, 5-5 UFC), who kept the pressure on a game but wounded Magny (18-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC), forcing the stoppage with brutal elbow strikes at the 4:08 mark of Round 1. The welterweight bout was part of today’s UFC 202 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It closed out the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass prior to additional bouts on FS1 and pay-per-view. It was the kicking game of Larkin that made the difference early in this fight. After hammering Magny with kicks to the body, Larkin then targeted the lead leg of Magny, quickly battering it to the point of rendering it nearly useless.
