ATLANTA – Would-be flyweight title challenger Wilson Reis fought off a scrappy Hector Sandoval , using a veteran’s instincts to secure an early finish. Newcomer Sandoval (12-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) came out swinging and landed a few punches early, but he was no match for Reis (21-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) on the mat, tapping to a choke in the opening frame. The flyweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 201 event at Philips Arena in Atlanta. It aired on FS2 following additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on pay-per-view.
