The interim light heavyweight title bout was the main event of the UFC 197 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Jones looked slightly less explosive than in some of his past showings, but remained dominant throughout. Saint Preux only landed the occasional punch or kick while Jones’ varied attack kept him off balance.
