LAS VEGAS – It wasn’t exactly the typical Diego Sanchez fight when the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter 1” met up with Jim Miller , in that neither fighter donated much plasma to the canvas over 15 minutes. Still, Sanchez’s (26-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC) grittiness remained ever present as he outworked Miller (25-8 MMA, 14-7 UFC) after splitting a pair of rounds to secure a unanimous decision, living to fight another day in the UFC. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 196 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It streamed on UFC Fight Pass ahead of additional prelims on FOX Sports 1 and a main card on pay-per-view
