Conor McGregor was the top draw on the disclosed payroll the UFC filed with the Nevada Athletic Commission, becoming the promotion’s first million-dollar man in regards to disclosed payroll. He was unsuccessful in the Octagon, however, as Nate Diaz derailed the Irishman’s hype train by submitting him in the second round. Diaz was paid a flat fee of $500,000 for his efforts
